Trailblazing by The Royal Society


Trailblazing is a marvellous brand new project co-ordinated by Professor Michael Thompson FRS for The Royal Society in order to celebrate its 350 anniversary. Historic events, documents, letters and other historical material – over fifty captivating and stimulating commentaries – are published online, arranged on an interactive timeline that will most certainly appeal and entice anyone who shares passion or even curiosity in science and its history.

Duly assembled by researchers, scientists, scholars, history experts Trailblazing has a remarkably easy-to-use interface that allows visitors to virtually walk through over three centuries of scientific discoveries and inventions.

Articles and explanations marked by a red circle can be printed and downloaded as PDF file.
